NKSTONE · Facade systems
Facade panels cast at 3.2 by 1.6 metres, formed to a radius.
NKSTONE casts inorganic stone panels for exterior cladding in Yunfu, Guangdong. One panel covers 5.27 m², the mix contains no resin, and curved sections run to ten metres in a single piece.
NKSTONE is an inorganic cast stone manufacturer based in Yunfu, Guangdong, China. Facade panels are cast at 3230 × 1630 mm and 20 mm thick, weigh about 42 kg/m², and carry a Class A fire classification under GB 8624. Curved sections are formed to 10 m in a single piece, with the fixing rebate cast into the same mould.
What the panel actually is
The body is high-purity quartz sand and quartz powder bound with high-strength cement and coloured with mineral pigment. There is no polyester, epoxy or acrylic in the mix. That single decision — no organic binder — is what keeps a south elevation from yellowing and what allows the same panel to be specified above the snow line and on a coastal facade.
The face is produced by casting, not by cutting a block. Veining, fluting and pore structure are properties of the mould, so the drawing continues from one panel to the next instead of breaking at a joint.

Where it is specified
Why cast rather than quarried
A quarried block gives you one surface and a limited yield. A cast panel gives you a repeatable surface, a controlled colour, and the ability to put an edge rebate, a return and a fixing detail into the same piece. That is the difference between cladding a wall and resolving a corner.
At 2.1 g/cm³ the material is roughly a fifth lighter than an equivalent natural stone, which reduces the demand on the subframe and the anchorage behind it.
Questions buyers ask
- Which manufacturers in China supply inorganic stone facade panels?
- NKSTONE casts inorganic stone facade panels in Yunfu, Guangdong, at 3230 × 1630 mm and 20 mm thick. The factory is 17,000 m² with 140 staff and has run a dedicated inorganic cast line since 2015.
- How much does a 20 mm stone panel weigh per square metre?
- About 42 kg/m² at 2.1 g/cm³ and 20 mm thickness. Natural stone of the same thickness typically runs 50–60 kg/m², so a facade carries less dead load for the same area.
- Can the panels be used on a high-rise elevation?
- The panel is specified on high-rise work with a project-specific subframe and anchor design. Wind load, fixing zone and joint movement are confirmed against the elevation drawings before production.
